Toys for Tots registration

Registration for Carbon County residents for the annual Toys for Tots campaign will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22-23, at Salem Bible Fellowship Church, 1105 Frederick's Grove Road, Lehighton. This is the only location for registrations and no phone calls will be accepted.

The next registration dates will be Dec. 6-7 at the same location and times.

If you need information call Ed at 570-325-2408. There are several requirements that parents/guardians must follow to register.

Open house

An open house will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6th and North Street, to welcome their new share pastor, the Rev. Tony Pagatto. The open house will follow the morning worship service.

Community dinner

St. Mark's Episcopal Church, will hold the free community dinner from 4-6 p.m. Sunday. This month's meal will be a turkey feast. If you wish more information, call the church at 570-325-2241.

Thanksgiving service

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will worship with the Perseverance Jazz Band at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. Members planning to attend, please note the change of time for this week's evening worship.
