St. Matthew's UCC

If you are interested in becoming a new member of St. Matthew's UCC, the Rev. Suzanne Brooks-Cope will be holding a New Member Orientation Session on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call 610-381-2442.

Rev. Brooks-Cope's Bible Study class on "When Grief Breaks Your Heart" is 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12. The study can help those through difficult times of loss, whether it be a loved one, a job, or any other kind of loss.

Chestnut Ridge Seniors

The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co. They will be sharing a Thanksgiving meal with barbecue. Volunteers are asked to bring desserts. They will be playing bingo and there will be turkey raffles.

Veterans Day

There will be a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday at the Veterans Memorial at the Eldred Township municipal building. Everyone is invited.

Exercising seniors

There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company from 9:30-10 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
