Christmas program

Meed's Methodist Church, Nesquehoning, will host a Christmas program at the 11 a.m. service Sunday, with the High Energy group performing.

"Blue" Christmas service

A special "blue" Christmas service will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford.

The service is for anyone who is dealing with grief, pain, loss or a heavy heart who wants to remember the birth of Jesus the Christ Child in a quiet celebration.

All are welcome to this quiet celebration of Christmas with special music, comforting prayer, Holy Communion, candle light, and time for reflection and memory.
