Senior of the Month

Laura Palmer, daughter of Julius and Joan Palmer, Weatherly, has been named Senior of the Month for February at Weatherly Area High School.

Laura is a member of Weatherly Area High School's chapter of the National Honor Society, the high school band, the high school chorus, County Band, District Band, and the drama club. She also serves as manager for the boys' soccer team and is involved in the high school variety show.

Laura also plays the flute for the Hazleton Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and she has recently earned the distinction of advancement to Regional Band. Laura is employed as a sandwich artist at Subway.
