Sara Hodon and Frank Karnish were united in marriage on March 15, 2013 in a sunset beach ceremony in Pensacola, Fla. with the Rev. Kenneth Delo officiating.
Thaddeus Karnish, son of the bridegroom, served as best man. A honeymoon in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast followed.
The bride is the daughter of Meryl Hodon of Weatherly and the late William Hodon.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from Lebanon Valley College and is employed as associate editor at Sigma Financial in Allentown and as a freelance writer.
The bridegroom is the son of Francis and Maryann Karnish of Lansford. He holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and biology from Moravian College. He is a chemistry teacher at Panther Valley High School.
The couple celebrated with family and friends at a reception at Kelly's Irish Pub, Lansford, in April.
They reside in Summit Hill.
