Erin Nester and John Dixon
The engagement of Erin Nester of State College, the daughter of Dennis and Diane Nester of Milton, Pa. (formerly of Jim Thorpe), to John Dixon of State College, the son of John and Etta Dixon of Meadville, Pa., has been announced by her parents.
The bride-to-be graduated from Penn State in 2008 with a B.A. in economics. She is a senior consultant at ParenteBeard LLC.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Penn State in 2007 with a master's degree in architectural engineering. He is a construction manager at Shaner Investments.
An Oct. 19, 2013 wedding is being planned.
