File for divorce

Christina M. Parry, 153 S. Third St., Frackville, filed suit for divorce from Michael R. Parry, 409 New Philadelphia Road, Kaska, Blythe Township. They were married Feb. 8, 1992.

Dave Mattson, 398 Golf Road, Tamaqua, filed suit for divorce from Judith Mattson, 21 Kendon Drive, Easton. They were married May 2,1981.

Divorces granted

Dale Lehman Zion Grove, North Union Township, was granted a divorce from Nancy E. Lehman, Oneida, East Union Township. They were married Dec. 13, 1980.

Robert M. Riegel, Cressona, was granted a divorce from Karen I. Riegel, 143 Pine Valley Road, New Ringgold. They were married June 30, 1990.

Kristy Touchinsky, Orwigsburg, was granted a divorce from Jeremy Waugh, Schuylkill Haven. They were married Oct. 12, 2008.

Osvaldo J. Nunez was granted a divorce from Andriana A. Nunez, both of Shenandoah. They were married Oct. 31, 2003.

Paul Klevis was granted a divorce from Janice Klevis, both of Frackville. They were married Sept. 19, 1976.

Accident suit

Donald and Robhyn Melochick, 18 Owl Road, Pottsville, started a civil action on behalf of their teenage daughter, Maddyson Melochick, against South Cass Township Fire Company, for injuries their daughter allegedly suffered while serving as a volunteer for the fire company's haunted hayride program on Oct. 15, 2011.

The suit claims the girl worked as a volunteer and was one of the persons who popped out of the woods to "scare" the ones taking the hayride as they drove through the woods. The suit claims on this evening while she was walking to her position a tractor trailer made a sharp turn onto the road used for the hayride and the wheels ran over her foot causing her serious injuries. The suit states the road was pitch dark. The family seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
