Pianist Jim Brickman joins symphony Jan. 21

Pianist Jim Brickman will join the Allentown Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 with a series of piano pieces, conducted by Ronald Demkee.

Brickman will fill the hall with a romantic vibe as he plays pieces like "Valentine," "The Gift" and "If You Believe." Guest artists will include vocalist Anne Cochran and electric violinist Tracy Silverman.

In addition, students from first grade on up to 21-year-old college students will be able to receive free tickets to the Allentown Symphony Orchestra concerts and Pops for the 2017 season, due to a grant from the Century Fund.

Tickets may be reserved by calling the box office at 610-432-6715, or by visiting the box office at Miller Symphony Hall Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 23 N. Sixth St., Allentown.
