Annual reorganization meeting

On March 26, the Northern Lehigh Swimming Pool Association will hold its annual board of directors reorganization meeting in the second floor faculty room of Slatington Elementary at 7:30 p.m.

During the general meeting, they will discuss plans for the refurbishment of the main and baby pools, fundraising ideas, projected costs, and summer student employment.

Anyone interested in being a member, or helping the association, is encouraged to attend. In addition, any suggestions to improve the swimming pool facility would be appreciated.

Slatington Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club will hold a board meeting at the Skeet Club at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13.

Lions celebrating birthdays include Carlton Miller (March 3), Robert Keegan, Jr (March 6), and David Papay (March 12).
