Our prayer for risk takers

Dear Editor:

Your morning is lovely,

All's right with the world,

A soft breeze is blowing

The flag is unfurled.

The feeders are flowing

With seeds for birds' snacks

We're enjoying your morning

The stop in our tracks.

Just what do we see,

As we're checking around

But bird droppings and feathers

Right there on the ground.

Now the seed in the feeders

Hangs high in the air

And your birds should be safe

When they perch or eat there.

Lord please warn your birds

Lest they have a Death Wish
