Conflict in Rush Township
Dear Editor:
To the people and taxpayers of Rush Township, I would like to address a few issues with you. As you know we have three supervisors, but only two of them seem to work together. These two supervisors, Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Leibensperger do not include Jeaninne Motroni in a lot of their decisions.
Most of the residents of Rush Township already know they sued William Boyer using taxpayer's money, which cost us over $10,000. If every resident decided to shut down an ally or road, could you ever imagine what it would cost the taxpayers, if the township sued everyone and took them to court?
I feel they had nothing to use against Mr. Boyer, so they sued him for political purposes to smear his name, and ruin his chances of winning the election for supervisor. Maybe the people of Rush Township should ask Mr. Boyer his side of the story, instead of taking the word of Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Leibensperger.
Also, what gives these two supervisors the right to eliminate the auditor's function that was dully elected? When are the people of this township going to wake up and see what is really going on and not what is being sugar coated?
Concerned Citizen,
Joseph E. Shamonsky, Rush Township
