Community dinner

St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Race Street, will host the monthly free community dinner on Sunday, May 19. It will be a picnic style meal and will be served from 4-6 p.m. If you have questions, call (570) 325-2241.

Class of 1964

This month's gathering of the Jim Thorpe High School class of 1964 will be held at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown on Wednesday, May 15 at noon. Contact Harry Eisenhart, (610) 709-4570 or heisenhart@msn, if you wish more information.

Pat Pry McCormick is in charge of the "Prize Box" for the gatherings. Members attending can bring whatever kind of inexpensive prize they wish, to place in the box. Prizes may be practical, humorous, unique, useful or just a neat conversation piece.

Ed Solomon was chosen to head up the 50th reunion of the class for next year. Any member of the class wishing to help plan this event, should contact Ed or Harry.
