Seeks payment

Physical Therapy Services of Hometown Inc., 219 Claremont Avenue, Hometown, Rush Township, filed suit against Patricia Hassin, 107 Coal St., Tamaqua, alleging she owes $13,185 plus interest and costs for for physical therapy services she received.

Pleads no defense

Donald George Ignatovic, 21, Shenandoah, entered a plea of nolo contendere to a charge of failing to comply with registration requirements as a sexual offender under the Megan's Law and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve 21 to 42 months in a state correctional institution.

Parole revoked

William Francis McDonald, 43, Gilberton, had his parole revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his term and his 256 days of liberty were disalllowed. His new maximum date for release is Dec. 21.

Back in May 2009 he entered a guilty plea to charges of crimninal conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He had two previous revocations of his parole.

Foreclosures

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Fort Mills, S.C., filed suit against Charise Matalavage, 403 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua, as administratrix and devisee, and Robin C. Santly, 100 E. Betsch St., Lansford, as devisee, both of the estate of the late June R. Santly. The suit alleges mortgage payments on the property at 403 E. Mauch Chunk St., are in default. The principal owed is $31,044.89 plus interest and costs.

Contract breach

American Heritage Federal Credit Union, of Philadelphia, filed a suit against Bethany M. Squire, 81 Hunter St., Tamaqua, alleging she breached payment on a loan of $8,200 she acquired. The suit alleges $6,974.46 remains unpaid plus interest and cost.

Foreclosures

Bank of America, N. A., Plano,Tex., filed suit against Craig Stable, Quakertown, claiming he defaulted on mortgage payments on his property at 232 E. High St., Coaldale, and seeks a judgement against him in amount of $35,983.57.

The Bank of America also filed suit against John T. Reed III, of 278 E. High St., Coaldale, claiming he has defaulted on mortgage payments on his property and seeks a judgement in amount of $21,744.08 plus interest and costs.

The Bank of America filed suit against Herbert L. Eisley, 8 W. Main St., Quakake, Rush Township, seeking a judgment for $98,097.35.

State prison

Kristen Nchole McCabe, 29, Shenandoah, who entered a guilty plea to four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, was sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman to serve eight months to 24 months in a state correctional institution.

She also must pay $100 to the Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Reginal Lab. McCabe was cited by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force after selling cocaine for $120 to a confidential informant.

Revoke parole

Robert James Fitzpatrick, 49, Valley View, had his parole revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin and his time of liberty of 288 days were disallowed and added to his maximum date of his sentence. He was, however, immediately granted parole. He had pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance in Valley View and after serving 11 days in prison had been placed on parole.

Seeks to collect

Progressive Direct Insurance Company, Chicago, Ill., filed suit to recover funds paid out on an insurance claim.

The company alleges it paid a claim to Margaret Tokonitz, 631 Park Avenue, Port Carbon, whose car was damaged in an accident with the vehicle driven by Richard Ritter, 308 Race St., Tamaqua. It seeks to recover $5,650.81 from Ritter.

Jury verdict

Rachel Autumn Schaeffer, Valley View Village., Hegins Township, was found guilty by a jury of a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

President Judge William E. Baldwin deferred sentencing to a later date and ordered a pre-sentence investigative report prepared by the adult probation department. She was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey Bowers.

Credit card debt

Midland Funding, LLC, San Diego, Calif., filed suit against Andrea Reed, 20 Clay St., New Philadelphia, alleging she owes a balance of $1,391.78 on her credit card plus interest and costs.
