No help for elderly

The govermant should be ashamed of themselves.

Senior citizens of this state do not have appropriately living or housing. My husband of 76 sleeps in the car and has done so for 11 months in front of the rehab I am staying in (I have had surgery and rehab). I am 70 years old.

We have been unable to find living quarters in last five months. We've been told that there are no openings or that the waiting list is too long.

We need to live together with our own kitchen, laundry, bedroom. How many elderly live this way? I'm not rich but can afford to live in the high rises, my husband and I.

So please help those of us who need help. It would be appreciated.
