Police log - harassment cases

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the following harassment cases:

• M. Goordman, 34, of Blakeslee, was arrested for harassment after he allegedly threatened an 80-year-old man from Penn Forest Township at 8 p.m. Dec. 27in the area of 300 Hatchery Road in Penn Forest Township. Police say Goordman threatened the 80-year-old man that he was "going to beat him up."

• Two men were issued citations for harassment after police were called to investigate an incident at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 25 in the 200 block ofChestnut Drive North, Ross Township.

Police said a 47-year-old man from Saylorsburg and a 26-year-old man from Allentown were involved in a verbal argument that led to a physical altercation. Both men were arrested.

• Saint Louis Moore of Saylorsburg was arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks on charges of simple assault and harassment when they responded to an incident at 9:27 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 200 block ofChestnut Drive North in Saylorsburg.

Police saidhe punched a man in the head during a verbal and physical altercation.

Police saidthe victim was transported to the St. Luke's Monroe Campus for treatment of injuries he sustained from the punch.
