Vacation Bible School

Registrations are still being accepted for Vacation Bible School at First Congregational Church, Coaldale. To sign up, please call (570) 645-9426 as soon as possible.

VBS will be held 6-8 p.m. daily June 24-28. Children ages 3 to 18 are welcome.

Activities will include opening exercises, lessons, crafts, snacks and singingLions to meet

Coaldale Lions will meet on Tuesday, June 11 and Tuesday, June 25 at 5:45 p.m. in the Viennese Villa in town. The meeting on June 25 will have as guests Bill Moyer, CEO of St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, and Micah Gursky, spokesman for St. Luke's Miners. All members are urged to attend both meetings.

President Robert E. Ames will preside.
