Named to dean's list

Carey Ann Gunthert, daughter of Robert and Gail Maholick of Lehighton, attained a 3.8 cumulative G.P.A. for the 2013 spring semester at Austin Community College. She attained a 3.6 G.P.A. in the fall of 2012 and a 4.0 G.P.A. in the spring 2011 semester at ACC. She is pursuing a degree in human resources. She is a 1994 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.

Prior to attending college, she was a member of the U.S. Air Force.

She is a granddaughter of the late John and Agnes Maholick and Chester and Maude Christman.

She and her husband, Dennis Gunthert, reside in Austin, Texas.
