Granted divorce

Dave Mattson, 398 Golf Road, Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Judith Mattson, 21 Kendon Drive, Easton. They were married May 2, 1981.

Vicky Betancourt, Orwigsburg, was granted a divorce from Francesco Betancourt, Young Harris, Ga. They were married Nov. 27, 1999.

Dorothy A. Zemanik was granted a divorce from Robert A. Zemanik, both of Port Carbon. They were married Jan. 9, 1993.

Beth A. Wertz was granted a divorce from Robert I. Wertz, both of Frackville. They were married May 19, 1994.

File for divorce

Vladimir Kaczmarczyk, 531 Washington St., Tamaqua, started a divorce action against Staci Kaczmarczyk, 2231 Black Forest Drive, Coplay. They were married April 22, 1989.

Revoke parole

Brian Lee Filer Sr., 46, of 18 Mauch Chunk Street, Tamaqua, had his parole revoked by Judge Charles M. Miller. He was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence, and his eight months of liberty is disallowed and added to his sentence, which extends the maximum time for his release from prison to Jan. 2, 2014. Filer pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance in June 2010 and was placed on probation. This was his second revocation.

Victor Barry Craig, 35, of 27 W. Grant St., McAdoo, had his parole revoked by Miller and was re-sentenced on an assault charge to serve three to 15 months in the county prison. He pleaded guilty to the charge last December and was placed on parole.
