Sue Barnesville man
A civil suit was started by Kevin and Diane Moncavage, 116 Dutch Road, Ashland, against Charles T. Reed II, of 16 Stoney Lane, Barnesville, for alleged injuries suffered in a two car accident.
The suit claims on May 9, 2012, Kevin Moncavage was traveling on Pine Creek Drive and when he approached Gulph Road and SR1018 an intersection street, claims Reed drove his vehicle through a stop sign and into his path and caused a collision. Moncavage and his wife are seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for injuries he suffered.
Mortgageforeclosures
HSBC Bank, USA, filed suit against David A. and Kimberly a Barninger, claiming they have defaulted mortgage payments on their home at 23 Wertman's Hollow, Andreas, West Penn Township, and seek a judgment for $371,440.62.
Deutsch Bank, Columbus, Ohio, filed suit against Thomas G. Hudack, 10 Center Street, Kelaryes, Kline Township, alleging they defaulted on mortgage payments on their property and seek a judgement for $60,804.03.
Credit card dues
Cach, LLC, Denver, Colo., filed suit against John Blanko, 24 Kettle Road, Tamaqua R.D., alleging he is in default on his credit card payments and seeks a judgement for $8,187.10 plus interest and costs.
Divorces granted
Terry Freed was granted a divorce from Sally Freed, both of 419 Pleasant Valley Road, New Ringgold. They were married Sept. 30, 2000.
Laura Miller was granted a divorce from Frank Miller, both of 531 Arlington St., Tamaqua. They were married Nov. 8, 1997.
Jane McBriide, Norwood, Del., was granted a divorce from Joseph J. McBride III, of Pottsville.They were married Dec. 15, 2008.
Charles Donmoyer, Mohnton, Berks County, was granted a divorce from Cindy Donmoyer, Pine Grove. They were married July 22, 1978.
Public hearing
West Penn Township supervisors held a public hearing at the municipal building to get input on projects to be undertaken under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
The meeting was conducted by Gary Bendor, the county's CDBG director, who has been hired by the township to supervisor the township grant. Discussed were checking out selected area where there are small clusters of homes for placing a community on lot sewer disposal systems. Also discussed were more improvements to the recreation park of placing paths for handicap leading from the park to rest rooms and to bleachers.
