Summit Hill couple wed 25 years

Mr. and Mrs. John P. Bruno of Summit Hill celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary earlier this summer.

They were married on June 27, 1987 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Summit Hill, by the Rev. Richard Nachajski.

Mrs. Bruno is the former Michele M. Wargo, daughter of the late Michael J. and Anna J. Wargo of Summit Hill. Her husband is the son of Flora D. Doyne (Griffin) of Pottsville and the late Michael P. Bruno of Nesquehoning.

They are the parents of six children: Courtney Bruno and her fiancé Stephen Kantor, Tamaqua; Natalie Bruno, Summit Hill; Heather (Bruno) Day and her husband Jeffrey Day, Jim Thorpe; Nazir Bruno, Summit Hill; Kyle Bruno, Summit Hill; and John Bruno Jr., Nesquehoning.

They also have six grandsons and one granddaughter.
