Lehighton couple wed 62 years

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brown of Lehighton recently observed their 62nd wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 2, 1950 at Jacob's U.C.C. Church in Weissport.

Mrs. Brown is the former Dorothy Bachman, daughter of the late Edgar and Alice Bachman of East Penn Township.

Mr. Brown is the son of the late William and Leona Brown of Lehighton.

The couple has two daughters: Karen, wife of Larry Klotz of East Penn Township; and Susan, wife of Patrick Conner of Tamaqua.

They have three grandsons: Brad Klotz of New Jersey, Jason Klotz of Florida and Matt Rehrig of Japan. They also have one grandson, Justin Klotz of New Jersey.

Mrs. Brown is retired from Scotty's Fashion in Lehighton. Mr. Brown is retired from Kraft Food in Fogelsville.
