The engagement of April L. Miller, Alburtis, to Joseph F. Stern, also of Alburtis, has been announced by her parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Barry and Nancy (Valitsky) Miller of Summit Hill. She is a 2002 graduate of Panther Valley High School and a 2008 graduate of Northampton Community College, where she earned an A.A.S. degree in dental hygiene.
She is employed as a dental hygienist at Deering Dental, LLC in Coopersburg.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Steven and Edna (Zingarelli) Stern of Whitestone, N.Y. He graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He graduated from DeSales University in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. He is employed as an RN case manager with Arcadia Hospice in Allentown.
A wedding is planned for Nov. 3 of this year.
