Jim and Michele Walck of Penn Forest Township recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They were married April 3, 1987, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Albrightsville by the Rev. Burdock, and again at St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Lake Harmony by the Rev. Auchter.
Mrs. Walck is the former Michele Smith, daughter of the late George and Agnes (Roos) Smith of Jim Thorpe. She is retired from the Department of Public Assistance. Mr. Walck is the son of the late Edward and Gladys (Miller) Walck of Albrightsville.
He is employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
They have three children; Jesse Rhyder of Shartlesville, Jody (Rhyder) Sonon of Weissport, and Marcy (Walck) Knauft of Jim Thorpe.
They have six grandchildren and a seventh on the way.
