Lehighton couple wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Angelovich of Lehighton recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Oct. 27, 1962 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jim Thorpe.

Mrs. Angelovich is the former Marianne Melicharek, daughter of the late Milan and Mary Melicharek of Jim Thorpe.

Her husband is the son of the late Marian and Michael Angelovich of Lehighton.

The couple have three children, Patty Snyder of Lehighton; Patrina Angelovich of Reading; and Pamela Keer, wife of Bill Keer, of Palmerton.

They have four grandchildren: Johnathan Angelovich, Justine Snyder, Anna Keer and the late Jennifer Snyder.

In honor of this special occasion, the coupe was treated to a surprise dinner at the Mahoning Valley Ambulance hall, with friends and family.
