July 9, 1979 Dave Stanko pitches his second no-hitter of the season to lead Lehighton to a 3-0 Lehigh Valley Legion win over Coplay. Stanko, who also had a gem against Whitehall four weeks earlier, walks two and strikes out eight. Steve Neihoff slugs a solo homer for the winners, while Ross Johnson and Paul Potichko each finish with a hit and run scored.
