Big Inning: The Tide scored four runs in the fifth inning to take control of the game as Brandon Waring and L.J. Hoes had RBI doubles off of IronPigs starter Scott Elarton.

Hoes extended his hitting streak to 20 games with a first inning infield single for the Tide.

Records: IronPigs 52-40, Norfolk Tides 48-45

Down The Road: The Pigs will look to get back on track tonight when Pat Misch (6-10, 4.73) takes the mound in the second game of a four-game set against the Tides. Norfolk throws former Texas Ranger pitcher Tommy Hunter (2-0, 4.50) with first pitch at 7:15 p.m.
