Jim Thorpe Blue reeled off four victories in recent Panther Valley Little League Tournament action.

LITTLE LEAGUE

PV 11-12 TOURNAMENT

JT Blue-Tamaqua White

Matt Day was the winning pitcher as Jim Thorpe Blue defeated Tamaqua White, 11-3, in Panther Valley 11-12 year-old Little League Tournament action.

Gunnar Rehrig had a home run to lead Jim Thorpe offensively.

JT Blue-Lansford

Justin Marykwas had a strong game on the mound to lead Jim Thorpe Blue to an 8-1 victory over Lansford in a Panther Valley 11-12 year-old Little League Tournament game.

JT Blue-Weatherly

Jim Thorpe Blue belted four home runs and rolled to a 20-11 victory over Weatherly in Panther Valley 11-12 year-old Little League Tournament action.

Matt Day launched a pair of home runs while Dale Edwards and Justin Marykwas also added long balls

JT Blue-FT Blue

Jim Thorpe Blue outlasted Franklin Township Blue, 12-8, in eight innings in Panther Valley 11-12 year-old Little League Tournament play.

Tamaqua White-JT Red

Jim Thorpe Red rolled to a 15-5 victory over Tamaqua White in Panther Valley 11-12 year-old Little League Tournament action.

A.J. Pompa and Nate Saxe both had three hits for Jim Thorpe Red. Aaron Lienhard and Nate DeMarco added two hits apiece with Lienhard scoring three runs and DeMarco two.

For Tamaqua White, Isaiah Kupchinsky had a two-run homer. John Burns and Brett Sell added two hits each.

PV 9-10 TOURNEY

Tamaqua Blue-Tamaqua White

Tamaqua Blue remained undefeated in Panther Valley 9-10 year-old Little League Tournament play with a 14-3 victory over Tamaqua White.

Tamaqua Blue (5-0) pounded out 12 hits and scored in every inning of the mercy-rule shortened five-inning game.

Carson Barron had four hits to lead Tamaqua Blue. Emily Titus, Adam Rex and Dante Agosti all added two hits.

Adam Rex was the winning pitcher.

Tamaqua White faces Towamensing at 6 p.m. on Wednesday night at Dutch Hill and Tamaqua Blue will face Jim Thorp Blue at 7:30 p.m. in the nightcap of the doubleheader.

T/P-JT Blue

Brock Bollinger, Eric Keck and Matt Doherty all had two hits to lead Towamensing/Palmerton to an 8-4 victory Jim Thorpe Blue in Panther Valley 9-10 year-old Little League Tournament play.

Blake Eitner and Colby Kunkle combined on the mound for the win,

For Jim Thorpe, Noah Snisky had a double.

T/P-Lansford

Logan Kresge and Brock Bollinger each had three hits apiece to lead Towamensing/Palmerton to a 22-12 victory over Lansford in a in Panther Valley 9-10 year-old Little League Tournament game.

Towamensing/Palmerton also got big games from Ethan Recker, Jared Zacharias, Blake Eitner, Tyler Roe and Eric Keck, who all had two hits.
