Northern Lehigh receives donations from organizations
Students in the Northern Lehigh School District have plenty to be thankful for thanks to the generosity of several local groups.
Superintendent Matt Link announced at last week’s school board meeting that the district has received various donations.
Link said they include Christ U.C.C. Church in Walnutport, for its donation of teacher supplies; Kutr’s Edge Hair Salon in Walnutport, for two pallet loads of school supplies for students; as well as a pallet of book bags stuffed with grade-level appropriate school supplies through the Region 8 Homeless Coordinator, and an equal number of hygiene kits for students who may be in need.
“I am always blown away by and extremely grateful for the generosity of our community in the support of our students and staff,” Link said. “It makes me proud to be part of Northern Lehigh.”
