NORTHERN LEHIGH SCHOOL BOARD — financial

Northern Lehigh School Board recently approved the following financial matters:

• Increase school lunch prices for the 2019-20 school year as follows: Elementary schools, breakfast from $1.45 to $1.50, and lunch, from $2.65 to $2.70; and middle school and high school, breakfast from $1.95 to $2, and lunch from $2.90 to $2.95.

• Authorize proper officials to continue an agreement between the district and Frontline Education for the purpose of proving web-based applications for planning, reporting, monitoring and archiving student data in compliance with federal and state mandated regulations. The cost for the services will be $3,850 for the 2019-20 school year.

• Authorized administration to sign the CSIU eService Rates contract for accounting, payroll and personnel software services for the 2019-20 school year.

• Approved the co-payment amount for student-athletes receiving a sports physical from St. Luke’s Sports Medicine during the 2019-20 school year at a cost of $10 per student.

• Allowed administration to sign the CLIU Technology Pool Consortium Agreement for the 2019-20 school year.

• Approved a tuition fee of $30 per student for a one-week elementary summer band program, and also approved a stipend for summer band program director Steven Jonkman. Jonkman’s stipend will be equal to the amount collected for student participation, but will not exceed $1,000. The summer band program will run from Aug. 12-16.

• Allowed administration to sign the CLIU TransPerfect Agreement to provide language interpreting related services.

• Elected Director Donna Kulp as treasurer for the 2019-20 fiscal year, effective July 1 through June 30, 2020.

• Approved budgetary transfers for the 2018-19 school year.
