Northern Lehigh School Board conferences

Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following on Monday:

• Michele Dotta, PAPSA: Welcome to the Major Leagues Conference, April 1-3, The Genetti Hotel & Suites, Williamsport, with the cost of registration $295, lodging, $198, travel, $66, and meals, $65, for a total cost of $623, to be funded from the special education budget.

• Matthew Link, AASA-PASA 2021 PA Cohort National Superintendent Certification Program, March 19-20, PASA offices, Harrisburg, with the cost of lodging $141, and travel, $88, for a total cost of $229, to be funded from the superintendent’s budget.

• Bryan Geist, 53rd annual Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association Conference, March 25-27, Hershey Lodge, Hershey, with the cost of registration, $250, lodging, $413, meals, $125 and travel, $92 for a total cost of $880, to be funded from the athletic department budget.

• Shawn Green, Pennsylvania School Librarians Association Annual Conference, April 30-May 2, Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, Hershey, with the cost of registration $250, lodging, $397, travel, $90, and meals, $55, for a total cost of $792, to be funded from the Slatington Elementary School Staff Development Budget.

• Nicole Nightlinger, PAPSA: Welcome to the Major Leagues Conference, April 1-3, The Genetti Hotel & Suites, Williamsport, with the cost of registration $395, and meals, $65, for a total cost of $460, to be funded from the special education budget.

• Krystle-Dawn Tiedeman, Pennsylvania School Librarians Association Annual Conference, April 30-May 2, Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, Hershey, with the cost of registration $200, lodging, $397, travel, $86, and meals, $55, for a total cost of $738, to be funded from the high school instructional staff development budget.

• In other business, Mathias Green was appointed as Lehigh Carbon Community College board of trustees representative, July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2026.
