One driver injured in Mahoning Twp. crash
A driver was injured at 6 a.m. Monday in a crash in Mahoning Township. A man driving a pickup traveling east on Route 443 had stopped to make a left turn onto Seneca road. His truck was struck in the rear by a car driven by a 20-year-old man. The 20-year-old was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance before being transported to an area hospital. The Mahoning Valley Fire Company responded to the scene. Lehighton borough police investigated. Route 443 was reduced to one lane.
