Outgoing Tamaqua school director recognized for service

Tamaqua Area School Board recently recognized the contributions of an outgoing board member.

Superintendent Raymond Kinder acknowledged Director Aaron Frantz, who attended his last meeting on the board.

Kinder thanked Frantz for all his service and contributions, and said they were greatly appreciated.

Board President Larry Wittig also spoke highly of Frantz.

“I really do appreciate your perspective on things,” Wittig said. “I really thank you sincerely.”

Frantz, who served as a director for eight years, said he was grateful for the opportunity to serve.

He said it was “an enjoyable experience,” a “great eight years” and “I’m glad I did it.”
