Packer Mansion open house aids FLOCC
This nutcracker greets guests who enter from the rear of the Harry Packer Mansion.
Join the Future Leaders of Carbon County on Dec. 19 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. for a special holiday self-guided tour of the Harry Packer Mansion, 19 Packer Ave., Jim Thorpe.
Get into the spirit of the holidays and follow along to the beloved classic as you visit scenic displays from “The Nutcracker Suite” in each room. Visitors can expect to see 15-foot ceilings, marble fireplaces and gilded mirrors that reflect the elegance of the Victorian Age.
FLOCC will also be selling the Carbon-opoly game produced by the chamber and local businesses.
The holiday open house at the mansion runs Nov. 30 through Dec. 23.
Advance tickets for the FLOCC fundraiser event are $5 for adults and are available online at www.carboncountychamber.org or purchase at the door (cash only).
