Palmerton Area School District has announced that schools will be open on Jan. 20 as a snow makeup day.

So let me get this straight.. Palmerton has ONE snow day that didn't even consist of snow and one 2 hour delay this year and already they have to make the day up?? Do school districts in Carbon County not give out snow day allowances anymore? What a joke..
