Palmerton church hosts LCCC Women’s Basketball Dinner

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Palmerton will play host to the Lehigh Carbon Community College women’s basketball dinner this Saturday.

“Each year, we are asked to do something as a community service project in the LCCC area. I live in Palmerton and I’m affiliated with the Lutheran Church, so we decided to host a community dinner there,” basketball coach Don Delich said.

Running from noon to 4 p.m. in the Parish Hall, the menu will consist of roast turkey, sweet potatoes, potato filling, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, dessert, and hot and cold drinks.

The dinner is free to attend, though there will be a freewill offering, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
