Palmerton Democrats to discuss ballots, primary
The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Democratic Information Center at 184 S. First St., Lehighton.
Lisa Dart, Director of the Carbon County Election Board, will speak about “Mail In Ballots and Changes in Election Law for the Upcoming Primary.”
Updates on the coronavirus will also be discussed. This event is free and open to the public.
An optional social hour will precede the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Newcomers from throughout Carbon County are welcome. No need to RSVP.
Club President Sarina Berlow noted the change in the group’s location to the Democratic Information Center in Lehighton for this meeting only.
As of April 14, the club will meet at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month from September through May at the Palmerton Borough Hall in the borough council chambers.
