Palmerton Dems to honor former candidates

The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will honor former candidates Denny Wolff (9th Congressional) and Kara Scott (122nd House District) at the annual meeting and election of officers.

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Palmerton Hotel, 302 Delaware Ave. The annual meeting will be preceded by the club’s holiday dinner. Social hour is at 6 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m., and the annual meeting and election of officers follows at 7:30 p.m.

The slate of officers includes: Sarina Berlow, president; Sandi Peters, vice president; Marian Hoffner, secretary; Janine Carazo, treasurer; Linda Christman, CCDP liaison; and Tina Smith, Southern regional coordinator.
