A Palmerton man entered guilty pleas on Thursday in Carbon County court in five pending cases, all occurring in Palmerton.

Glennis Edward Park, 33, pleaded to two counts each of theft, criminal trespass and loitering or prowling at night before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II. The trespass charges are felonies.

Park was charged for an incident on Sept. 6 when he broke into the First United Church of Christ at 457 Delaware Ave., where he took food items. He also admitted to entering a property in the 400 block of Lafayette Avenue on June 28. He admitted stealing a wallet on July 9 from the 500 block of Mauch Chunk Road. The loitering and prowling offenses also occurred on July 9 when police responded to a report of a person entering vehicles along Avenue A and Lehigh Avenue.

Park is currently an inmate in the county prison on the charges.

Nanovic accepted the pleas but deferred sentencing ordering the adult probation office to prepare a presentence investigation report.
