Palmerton man involved in crash

Andrew R. Kratzer, 20, of Emmaus, was cited by state police at Fogelsville for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 5:39 p.m. Feb. 5 on South Cedar Crest Boulevard in Upper Milford Township.

Police said he was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra north when he became distracted and failed to observe the traffic in front of his vehicle had stopped. Police said the Sentra struck the rear of a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta operated by Todd R. Conklin, 31, of Palmerton.

Neither driver was hurt in the incident.
