Breakfast
An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, 525 Club Road, Palmerton. Menu items include eggs to order, potatoes, pancakes, SOS, hash, ham, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, OJ, milk, coffee and tea.
Palmerton council
A regular meeting of the Palmerton Borough Council will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Borough Hall Council Chambers, 443 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
Friends of the Library
The next meeting of the Friends of the Palmerton Area Library will be held at 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at the library. Everyone is welcome.
Third Monday Book Club
The Third Monday Book Club will meet at the Palmerton Area Library from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17. The club discusses a different book each month. New members are always welcome. The February book is “The Wright Brothers” by David McCullough. Call the library at 610-826-3424 for more information.
Teen Movie Night
Teen Movie Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Palmerton Library. Movie will be Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther,” rated PG-13, approximately 2 hours, 14 minutes. Popcorn and bottled water provided.
For ages 12 and up. Will be held in the gallery room.
Community festival
A reorganization meeting for 2020 will be held at 9 p.m. Feb. 19. Any nonprofit groups interested in participating should plan to attend this meeting at the Palmerton Borough Hall. Welcome are new nonprofit groups who might be seeking information to potentially become a participant are invited to attend the meeting as well. There is some space available for some new nonprofit groups to join and raise funds for their said cause.
Movie time at LHLC
You are invited to Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 N. Third St., Palmerton, on Saturday beginning at 11:45 a.m. for a series of three movies. Beginning at 11:45 a.m. will be a light lunch (hot dogs, hamburgers). At 12:30 p.m. will be movie No. 1, “The Case for Christ.” At 3:30 p.m. will be movie No. 2, “Little Boy.” At 5:40 p.m. will be a pizza dinner followed by movie No. 3 at 6:30 p.m., “Overcome.” Join for one or all movies.
JUCC
Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, in Palmerton, will hold worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. This is Pennsylvania Dutch Heritage Day. Following the second service will be a covered dish meal and then some entertainment and card games. Invite your friends for a great time. Snow date is Feb. 23.
The quilting group will meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 27. The Grief & Loss Support Group will meet on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
Faith Alive
Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St. holds Sunday contemporary worship at 8:30 a.m. and traditional worship at 10:45 a.m. with Pastor Rob Timlin.
Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages.
Prayer and praise service is held every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday Service is at 7 p.m. Feb. 26.
Youth Group will meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 23. All youth 12 years to 12th grade are welcome. Snow tubing event scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Feb. 16. Contact Jessica at 570-982-4062.

Men’s Bible study every Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Homebound Ministry will be Feb. 19. All welcome to join us brighten the day for those unable to attend church and tell them of God’s Love.
Prayer Shawl Ministry is from 2 to 3:45 p.m. Feb. 27. They will be making scarves for needy children in the Palmerton Area School District. Contact Linda at 610-852-3833.
