Christmas toy bingo

A kids Christmas toy bingo will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Parryville Fire Co., 359 Main St.

Heritage Center

The Palmerton Heritage Center, 410 Delaware Ave., continues its display showing businesses of Palmerton’s earlier years. Come visit the center. Lots of pictures and displays. You may find a unique gift for Christmas giving.

Palmerton Area Drama Club

The Palmerton Area High School Drama Club will present “Rebel Without a Cause” Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and 2. Doors open at 6:30 and curtain is 7 p.m. The event is held in the Palmerton High School auditorium.

Christmas in the Park

Palmerton’s Christmas in the Park event will be held on Dec. 2 with a bad weather date of Dec. 3. This free event will begin at noon with an opening ceremony.

There will be food stands, bake sale, vendors and entertainment from noon to 4:30 p.m. when the 100 trees will be lit.

Wagon rides will also be back this year.

The traditional Santa in the Park will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the park bandstand. Children must be in line by 2:30 p.m. as Santa must leave by 3 p.m. Children will receive goody bags and a chance to win prizes, such as new bikes and wagons.

Nonperishable food items will be collected for CACPAC food pantry. Donations of new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots will also be accepted.
