Class of 1955
Palmerton Area High School Class of 1955 will meet at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Berlinsville Hotel, 4588 Lehigh St., in Walnutport. Call Dorothy at 619-826-4751 with any questions.
Zinc City
The Zinc City Motorcycle Club, Route 209, Interchange Road, in Kresgeville will hold Saturday Night Drags from 3-9 p.m. Saturday. Gates open at 2 p.m. Zinc City will be sponsoring the West End Food Pantry during this season. As part of this they are asking that anyone who is going to attend this event please bring a nonperishable food item to help with this cause.
Breakfast
An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, 525 Club Road, Palmerton. Menu items include eggs to order, potatoes, pancakes, SOS, cereal, hash, ham, bacon, sausage, milk, coffee and tea.
Concourse Club
The Concourse Club of Palmerton will hold a meeting for prospective members at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Palmerton Area Library in the upstairs conference room. The group is looking forward to seeing new people interested in joining this service club. For information, call Joan at 610-826-2716.
Community meal
Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Trachsville will hold a community meal from 5-6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, in Trachsville, will hold a First Responders Appreciation Service at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday. Come join them in saying thank you to all those who protect the community.
Back to Church
Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., in Palmerton will be holding a Back to Church Sunday service at 10 a.m. this Sunday. The public is invited to attend.
St. John’s Lutheran
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road in Palmerton will have Sunday school and confirmation classes starting at 9 a.m. this Sunday. These classes are for children ages 7 and older. Adult Sunday school will start at 9 a.m. Oct. 13. Worship service is at 10:30 a.m.
