Palmerton police department reports on incidents

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernalia: A juvenile referral was filed against a 17-year-old Slatington boy for three counts of DUI, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license for an incident Sept. 30 on Route 248 east.

Disorderly conduct: Glennis Park, 32, Palmerton, was charged with disorderly conduct, theft, and receiving stolen property for an incident July 1 in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

A 15-year-old Palmerton boy was charged with disorderly conduct for an incident Oct. 20 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Simple assault: Ronald Strohl, 64, of Palmerton, was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment for an incident Oct. 23 in the 400 block of Lafayette Avenue.

Bad checks: Jamal Bayton, 32, Pocono Pines, was charged for an incident Nov. 1, 2016.

Retail theft: Tyler Easterly, 25, Palmerton, was charged for an incident Oct. 20 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued four citations each for speeding and vehicle violations, and three for traffic violations.
