Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Brian Amill, 34, of Lehighton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident June 3 on Route 248 east.

Jonathon Zerby, 25, of Palmerton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness, for an incident Sept. 22 in the 200 block of Harvard Avenue.

Wayne Boger, 25, of Albrightsville, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, general lighting requirements, and operation of a vehicle without certificate of inspection, for an incident Sept. 22 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Christopher Bemelmans, 38, of Bethlehem, was charged with two counts of DUI, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Aug. 9 at Delaware Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.

DUI: Matthew Martin, 24, of Palmerton, was charged with three counts of DUI, driving under suspension, operation following suspension of registration, and drivers required to be licensed, for an incident July 11 on Route 248 east.

Citations: Police also issued one citation each for speeding, a traffic violation and a vehicle violation.
