Palmerton Police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Candice Stoudt, 40, Lansford, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident June 5 in the 1100 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Prohibited text-based communications: A 17-year-old Palmerton boy was cited for prohibited text-based communications, for an incident June 1 at Third Street and Lafayette Avenue.

Junking of vehicles prohibited: Daniel Pierce, 33, Palmerton, was charged with junking of vehicles prohibited, for an incident June 4 in the 600 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Unlawful activities: Carter Waible, 19, Palmerton, was charged with unlawful activities, for an incident May 14 in the 1400 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Maximum gross weight: Guido Tapia-Cabexas, 55, Newark, New Jersey; Luis Guevaraherrera, 33, Elizabeth, New Jersey; and Edwin Reyes, 36, Flanders, New Jersey, were charged for maximum gross weight, for an incident June 2 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued six citations for vehicle violations, two for speeding and one for traffic violation.
