Palmerton Police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Terroristic threats: Thomas Weiss, 50, Palmerton, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, for an incident Sept. 6 in the 500 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Christopher Smith, 32, Palmerton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Aug. 28 in the 400 block of Columbia Avenue.

DUI: Shane Ruff, 20, Coplay, was charged with two counts of DUI, for an incident July 16 in the 700 block of Lafayette Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Stephen Howard, 21, Slatington, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, for an incident Aug. 28 in the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue.

Harassment: Jean Pillion, 51, Palmerton, was charged with communications with 911 systems and harassment, for an incident Aug. 25 in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Public drunkenness: Troy Dubois, 47, Lehighton, was charged with public drunkenness, for an incident Sept. 3 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued two citations each for speeding and traffic violations, and one count for a vehicle violation.
