Palmerton Police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Simple assault: Jesse Nalesnik, 44, Palmerton, was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment, for an incident Jan. 5 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: A 17-year-old Lehighton male was charged with disorderly conduct, for an incident Jan. 9 at Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.

DUI: Stacey Miller, 30, Palmerton, was charged with two counts of DUI and careless driving, for an incident Dec. 31 on Third Street.

Citations: Police also issued five citations for traffic violations and one for speeding.
