Palmerton Police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

DUI/possession of drug paraphernalia: Daniella Carite, 33, Jessup, was charged with three counts of DUI, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, registration and certificate of title required, and operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection, for an incident Dec. 9 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Daniel Riccardi, 22, Edison, New Jersey, was charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Feb. 4 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

DUI/resisting arrest: Steven Thorne, 32, Palmerton, was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, for an incident Feb. 7 at Delaware Avenue and Seventh Street.

Criminal conspiracy: Juvenile referrals were filed against a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, both of Palmerton, for criminal attempt, criminal conspiracy, and loitering and prowling at night, for an incident Jan. 20 in the 200 block of Lafayette Avenue.

Barking dogs: Melanie Strohl, 35, Palmerton, was cited for borough code regarding barking dog, for an incident Feb. 6 in the 200 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Junking of vehicle prohibited: Jennifer Lesher, 35, Palmerton, was cited for junking of vehicles prohibited, for an incident Feb. 4 in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued one citation each for speeding, traffic violation and vehicle violation.
