Palmerton Police log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Retail theft: Siobhan Carrasso, 57, Jim Thorpe, was charged for an incident Aug. 12 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Public drunkenness: Kenneth Shafer, 30, Palmerton, was charged for an incident Aug. 11 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Citations: Police also filed four citations for speeding, and one each for traffic violation and vehicle violation.
