Palmerton Police Log

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Harassment: Jason Goodpaster, 38, was charged with simple assault and harassment, for an incident Aug. 30 in the 300 block of Columbia Avenue.

Maximum gross weight: Jose Miranda, 62, Summit, New Jersey; Jaime Velasco-Zapata, 59, Elizabeth, New Jersey; Scott Borchers, 44, Milford; and Keith Vanderyajt, 50, Albrightsville, were cited on Sept. 9 at Franklin Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.

Ivan Gaviria, 24, Elizabeth, New Jersey; and Cody Estok-Diprima, 42, Newton, New Jersey, were cited for maximum gross weight, for an incident Sept. 12 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued two citations for traffic violations and three citations for vehicle violations.
